It had been a long day and as the taxi swung around bend after bend on the narrow road from Como to Bellagio I was feeling decidedly nauseous. Then out of the corner of my eye I spotted some torches and people combing the roadside in luminescent jackets - stylish of course this being Italy!

A friend calls me and asks to go out with them to a restaurant. Having a 4 months old baby I suggest they come to my place and we have a take-away pizza. When they arrive we have some 'aperitivo'.

I was in a taxi recently when I asked the taxi driver what radio station he was listening to (as a song that I hadn't heard in ages was playing). He said it was a CD, and as each song came on he was able to tell me who wrote each song, who sang it etc.

I was going into my local shopping center recently to do some grocery shopping. It was lashing rain and one of the cars parked outside the centre has its sunroof open -fully. The rain was pelting in then a random guy ran over to the car and popped an umbrella in the sunroof.Amazing and has always left a smile in my face. The car was happy too! |
